But then Top Chef happened, and former contestants cranked out off-the-wall, dressed-down joints ( Rich Sweeney‘s R Gang Eatery) and design-friendly crowd-pleasers ( Brian Malarkey‘s Herringbone and Searsucker), not to mention another alumni slated to join them this winter ( Richard Blais‘ Juniper & Ivy). And I can’t justify spending that much for a simple eyebrow wax.San Diego has never been recognized for dishing out an imaginative dining experience. Too difficult to speak to someone over the phone. At my previous appointment at High Brow, the woman asked questions about what I wanted and explained what I should do to let certain areas grow out.I won’t be returning. I could have easily gone to a less expensive place for the service I received. And she was very nice during our appointment.I am upset about the cost of paying for a brow design when my appointment took less than 10 minutes. She was courteous in letting me know her prior appointment was running late. The woman who did my eye brows was real friendly. Not a big deal, just not customer friendly. Only for them to tell me that I’d have to pay for a reschedule fee. Unless they’re into surfingin which case they’re.
